Arsenal fans have spotted a clue over Bukayo Saka’s new contract announcement

Some Arsenal fans are convinced that youngster Bukayo Saka will soon sign a new contract.

The teenager’s future at the Emirates Stadium is uncertain, with his contract expiring at the end of next season and he’s also being linked with moves to Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.

As expected, head coach Mikel Arteta has stated his preference would be for Saka to stay which is not a surprise given his impressive goal contributions (3g, 9a) across all competitions this season.

“The club is doing what it has to do and is having conversations,” the Gunners head coach said earlier in the season. “We’ll get it resolved.”

However, as revealed by football.london last month, no talks have taken place between Saka’s representatives and the club hierarchy since February.

Arsenal have not been able to tie Saka to fresh terms since he signed his first professional contract, understood to be worth around £7,000-a-week.

With that said, the good news is that the north London outfit are desperate to keep Saka and would be prepared to offer him a significant pay rise.

But has an agreement already been reached?

Whilst looking for hints regarding Aubameyang’s decision, an Arsenal supporter @P1AFC posted a theory on Twitter.

Based on Saka’s latest Instagram post (above), it has convinced this fan that Saka has either signed a new deal already or will do so in the coming weeks or months.

PICTURES: Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell join Chelsea training

Published

Chelsea returned to training today (Wednesday) at Cobham, and there were two new faces joining the rest of the squad, Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell. The two summer arrivals had yet to train with the squad since signing, dealing with quarantine (presumably) and heel injury issues, respectively.

It’s unclear if either will be fit and ready for this weekend’s match against Liverpool, but it’s still nice to see them in training with the rest of the group! (Those who played on Monday apparently had a lighter session, but were all out there nonetheless.)

There’s no word on how close Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic may be. Ziyech is probably still a couple weeks out with his knee problem, at least, but Pulisic was supposed to be close before suffering a potential setback with his hamstring late last week. Neither were pictured in training, and one would assume their presence would get emphasized had they been there.
