Asuka breaks Bayley’s WWE record

  • Asuka and Bayley have been two of the most impressive women’s Superstars in WWE this year.
  • Asuka is all set to take on Sasha Banks at WWE Survivor Series 2020.

Current RAW Women’s Champion Asuka has had an amazing year in WWE so far. Earlier in 2020, she won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match and was crowned the new RAW Women’s Champion the following night, after Becky Lynch announced her pregnancy. Asuka did lose the title to Sasha Banks, but soon defeated her to win it back.

Last month, Bayley surpassed Charlotte Flair’s tally of most combined days as a Women’s Champion in modern WWE history. Unfortunately, she went on to lose her SmackDown Women’s title to Sasha Banks at Hell in a Cell and is no longer a champion. Now, Asuka has surpassed Bayley’s record, as seen in the table below

Asuka and Bayley in WWE recently

Both Asuka and Bayley have been two of the most impressive WWE Superstars during this pandemic-hit era of the company. As mentioned earlier, Bayley lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Sasha Banks at WWE Hell in a Cell, after holding the title for over a year. She will be challenging the champion to a rematch this week on Friday Night SmackDown.

As for Asuka, she has been a dominant champion and has taken the baton from Becky Lynch as the top face of RAW’s women’s division. Later this month, Asuka will take on the SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks in a “champion vs. champion” match at WWE Survivor Series 2020. As for her RAW Women’s title, it doesn’t look like anybody is ready for Asuka.

WWE’s Alexa Bliss Gets Engaged!

2020 has been a hell of a year for this Firefly Funhouse cast member…

Former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Champion Alexa Bliss is set to tie the knot with partner, Ryan Cabrera, according to the WWE star’s Instagram.

Recently posting an image on her account, Bliss appeared to be in shock as Cabrera got down on one knee outside of what appears to be a restaurant. In the wake of this brilliant news, Bliss captioned the image:

One year ago we said hello, tonight I said YES 🖤 @ryancabrera

Below the photo, the star also noted, “Tonight was the best night of my life!!! And it’s only just beginning!!!”

Throughout 2020, Bliss has been front and centre on WWE programming, winning the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 36 before getting involved in Braun Strowman and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt’s Universal Championship programme. This eventually led to Bliss aligning herself with Wyatt, embracing the more surreal elements of his character and even joining the cast of the Firefly Funhouse on Monday Night Raw.

With this news, it appears Bliss is enjoying a rather eventful 2020 and it looks like the good times are set to continue in the near future.

There’s still no news on whether Ramblin’ Rabbit will be a groomsbunny or not…
