Emma Raducanu shared a photo dump of recent activities and
there might have been a message directed at those criticizing her
decision to split with coach Sebastian Sachs. On Thursday,

Raducanu announced she and coach Sachs mutually agreed to
part ways after six months of working together.

In May, Raducanu had surgeries on both wrists and her left ankle.

 


In an announcement shared on Thursday, Raducanu indicated
that the current circumstances led to the split. “I have really
enjoyed Seb’s coaching and working with him, it’s unfortunate
that circumstances made it unfeasible for both of us to continue
right now and we have decided to part ways.
I wish Seb all the best moving forwards,” Raducanu announced
on Thursday. A couple of hours later, coach Sachs told Eurosport
that there was a “difficult situation that led to a difficult situation.”

“Unfortunately, difficult situations led to difficult conversations
and ultimately we came to this decision.
Obviously, it’s a shame because I like Emma and we worked very
well together on the court,” Sachs told Eurosport. Meanwhile,

Raducanu is currently in the process of rehabbing from multiple
surgeries. After missing the French Open , Raducanu is also set to
miss the entire grass season, including Wimbledon.
