A number of Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on the report claiming the Gunners are confident of winning the race to snap up Ryan Fraser, as claimed by the Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old looks set to leave Bournemouth on a free transfer this summer and, given the financial repercussions in the football industry caused by the global health crisis, such players are expected to be in demand.

Fraser joined the Cherries in January 2013 from Aberdeen and has made 208 appearances for the south coast club, claiming 24 goals and 33 assists in that time, according to Transfermarkt.

He was especially impressive last season for Bournemouth, registering seven goals and 14 assists in the Premier League, while this term he has claimed one goal and four assists.

Although Fraser hasn’t been on the same level this season, there’s still plenty to interest other suitors, particularly in wake of current events.

The Mirror claimed earlier in May that Fraser was receptive to reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur and seemingly eager to link up with them.

However, the Daily Mail now suggests that Arsenal feel they can win the race for the winger, a player they were reportedly interested in last summer (90Min).
