By 2005, the marriage was over, and Pitt was embroiled in rumors that he’d cheated on Aniston with future wife Angelina Jolie on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

Both Jolie and Aniston deny that these rumors are true, but they certainly had an impact on how the public perceived the end of Pitt and Aniston’s marriage.
