Prince George melts the hearts of royal fans who see Princess Diana resemblance-check.

Royals fans were swooning over Prince George on social media after he was seen at Twickenham stadium with his parents during England’s Six Nations match against Wales on Saturday, Prince George stole the show on Saturday afternoon when he made a rare public appearance with his parents.

The eight-year-old, who is third in line to the throne, was at Twickenham to watch England take on Wales in the Six Nations. His father Prince William was attending in his role as patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, while his mother Catherine was there as patron of the Rugby Football Union.

Royals fans were swooning over the young prince on social media and commenting on the uncanny resemblance to his late grandmother Princess Diana. “We can’t be alone in saying we see Princess Diana here? Prince George is starting to seriously resemble his grandmother,” wrote one fan.

Another said: “How can Prince George already have such a defined jaw and grow so tall? Wasn’t he just a baby yesterday?” One fan said: “Our little Prince isn’t so little anymore.” His mother’s team eventually came out on top, as they held off a second-half comeback from Wales to secure a 23-19 win in front of a sell-out crowd.

The future king and queen arrived at the stadium just hours after they made a rare political statement, in a show of support for the Ukrainians who are fighting against Russian invaders.

In the statement posted on Twitter, they said: “In October 2020 we had the privilege to meet President Zelenskyy and the First Lady to learn of their hope and optimism for Ukraine’s future.

“Today we stand with the President and all of Ukraine’s people as they bravely fight for that future.” The Queen recently gave Kate the RFU and Rugby Football League patronages, roles formerly held by the Duke of Sussex before he quit royal duties in 2020.

During her first engagement earlier this month with members of the England teams, Kate said of her rivalry with William: “We’re terribly competitive. “The fact we’re now supporting two different teams is going to make things interesting.”

She also said that George, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3, were “all enjoying” playing rugby,
