The ‘Power Sisters’ of tennis, Venus and Serena Williams are one of the most successful siblings in the sport. Moreover, their impeccable tuning can be seen beyond the court too. But, tennis isn’t the only common interest of the Williams sisters. Both Venus and Serena are fond of interior designing and fashion.
Serena recently invited her elder sister to be a part of the team responsible for designing the former World No.1’s home in Miami. Venus seemed really excited to design her sister’s home as she revealed other interests that Serena holds, in a recent interview.
“She’s really good at space planning, which is interesting because before I was doing any of this sort of design, I couldn’t do that,” told Venus Williams in the interview.
Venus revealed this hidden talent of Serena’s and went on say, “So, it’s interesting how she has a knack for it and creating spaces and connections. It’s pretty cool.”
Serena acknowledged her sister’s remarks and admitted her love for interiors. Serena also said that she has spent hours learning about them.
I’ve learned a lot of stuff I never thought I would have learned. I love interiors, honestly,” replied Serena.
The 39-year old not only loves designing but also claims that fashion is her biggest strength.
“It’s been fun for me because I think fashion is definitely my stronger area more so than interiors. But I do know that I have certain things that I like and have certain tastes,” concluded the 23-time Grand Slam winner.
